Please be sure that you are signing in at the Pro Shop every time you go out to golf!
Below are updates on the course condition, upcoming events, tournament results, and general news.
Dinner Party May 19th ~ It is the first of its kind at our club and we hope you will join us for a fun evening with great food and a presentation on “The Rules of Golf”. Our guest speaker for this event is Mr. Tom McCarthy, former President of Golf Canada and a Level 4 Rules Official.
Cocktails will be from 6:30 to 7:00pm followed by a sit down dinner, Guest Speaker and a social. Tickets can be purchased at the Pro Shop and space is limited. Don’t delay, come out and get your tickets to what promises to be an informative and fun evening. (posted: 29 Apr)
Your Handicap May Increase this Year ~ The method used to calculate your equitable stroke has changed for this year. This is your "adjusted score" you would input in the computer to calculate your handicap. For more information follow the following link to Golf Canada website. (posted: 24 Apr)

1-Year Membership Draw ~ Tickets are now on sale at the Proshop. All proceeds will go to the Junior Program. Tickets are $5 and there is a limited quantity. Winning ticket will be drawn at the Fall AGM. Support our Juniors! (posted: 24 Apr)
Spring General Meeting ~ Sunday, April 15th in Clubhouse Lounge at 1400hrs (2pm). All members are encouraged to attend. There will be coffee and donuts for everyone. If you have any questions or concerns, please advise the Manager prior to the meeting so that items of interest can be added to the agenda.
Course Clean Up Day ~ Our golf course is in need of some
spring cleanup and we are looking for volunteers. Our planned date is
Monday April 16th from 0800-noon with a rain date of
Thursday April 19th. Please bring along a pair of gloves and a rake if you
have one.
We'll stop for a BBQ lunch at noon and finish the day off with some golfing.

Course is now open ~ The course is dry enough to allow carts. What a great start to the season! Be sure to book your tee time. See you all on the course. (posted: 21 Mar)
Karyne Gelinas Attends CISM Training Camp ~ Greenwood's Karyne Gelinas was recently selected to attend the CISM (Canadian International Sport Militaire) training camp in Jacksonville, Florida. Karyne was among five female and 17 male golfers to attend the nine day training camp. Karyne finished first overall for women in the concluding three day tournament. The Canadian Forces uses these camps to select their national team, which consists of 6 male and 2 female golfers. The 2012 CISM Military World Golf Championships will be in Jacksoville, Florida on October 13th - 20th, 2012.
Spring AGM will be held 15 April 2012 at 1400hrs. All are invited to attend.
